Punihani International, established in 1985, is today one of India’s leading manufacturers of leather apparels and accessories for men, women and kids. Punihani International is manned by 500+ dedicated employees across departments, backed by advanced in-house designing and prototyping facilities.
The company has 3 state-of-the-art manufacturing units, housing the most contemporary machinery to keep pace with the vibrant and fast-paced international leather industry. The latest production unit of the company is a state-of-the-art set-up, having 4-star rating as a “Green Factory” by GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment), a non-government agency approved by the Ministry of Environment, Government of India. This rating is equivalent to a gold rating from LEED. This factory is the first of its kind in the leather industry
Presently, the company is supplying its products to over 25 well-known USA & European Brands.
Punihani International has a dedicated design studio, wherein a team of designers develop new products, techniques and treatments.
Fusion of traditional techniques like hand padding, hand stitching, knife-cutting, and dip-dyeing with modern techniques like laser cutting and embossing helps it prepare a versatile product range.
Apart from its own seasonal collections, the company also works in close association with its buyers to develop customer-specific product range. The company’s in-house seasonal and customer-specific collections are showcased in its showrooms.

By virtue of being in this trade for so long, the company’s forte is manufacturing, as well as sourcing. Punihani International works with a comprehensive variety of skins and hides. These premium quality skins and hides are sourced from India as well as other countries like Italy and New Zealand.
The company has its dedicated offices manned by a well-informed Quality Control team at all the prime leather sourcing centres across India. This not only facilitates developing new leather qualities, but also helps the company to keep a stringent quality control on bulk leather production.
As a step contributing towards a greener planet, we source our leathers from LWG certified tanneries
We make sustained efforts to ensure that the leathers we source for our products do not disturb the ecological balance; a major step in this direction is usage and promotion of chrome free tanned and vegetable tanned leathers
The metal accessories, in particular, are sourced from China/Hong Kong. As far as zippers are concerned, they are always YKK or customer-specific, while leather, lining and a wide range of accessories used in the end products are always REACH compliant.
The company has dedicated division for leather garments, leather hand bags, leather belts and small leather goods.
